TESA® Low Temperature Tape
tesa® 62957 is a PE foam tape with an acrylic adhesive designed to offer high adhesion even in low temperature conditions.

Characteristics
- Colour: White
- Backing: Polyethylene foam.
- Adhesive: Pure unmodified acrylic.
- Liner: Red siliconised paper.
- Initial tack: High tack even at low temperatures, which means that it adheres quickly on contact without the need for prolonged pressure. This is crucial in fast assembly processes or outdoors.
- Resistance: Withstands operating temperatures from -40 °C to +80 °C (short-term even up to 100 °C).
- UV and Ageing: High resistance to UV rays and degradation over time, making it ideal for sun-exposed applications.
- Moisture: Waterproof and moisture resistant, preventing the bond from weakening in humid or rainy environments.
- Thickness of 1 mm: Fills small gaps and compensates for irregularities between surfaces.
- Damping: Absorbs vibrations and reduces noise, useful in applications such as panel mounting or mobile structures.

Applications – TESA® Low Temperature Tape
- Construction and windows:
- Fixing of glazing bars, PVC, aluminium or wooden frames and decorative profiles.
- It meets the requirements of tests such as those of the IFT Rosenheim (Institut für Fenstertechnik), which assess the durability of joints between glass and other materials outdoors.
- Ideal for on-site assembly during winter or in cold regions.
- Automotive industry:
- Mounting of external mouldings or panels on vehicles, where weather and vibration resistance is required.
- Advertising and signage:
- Fixing of posters or panels outdoors, taking advantage of its UV resistance and its ability to adhere to surfaces such as metal, plastic or glass.
- General use:
- Bonding of mirrors, decoration or light structural elements in damp or cold environments.
