TESA® ACXplus Acrylic Foam Tapes
TESA’s ACXplus range of double-sided tapes offers a modern solution for permanently bonding materials. Applications of TESA® ACXplus Acrylic Foam Tapes
According to TESA, each tape is designed for a specific purpose:
- ACXplus 73112: Specially designed for use in high-temperature applications. It maintains a strong bond even when temperatures rise sharply for short periods or remain high continuously. Ideal when parts become hot during the manufacturing process or in everyday use.
- Suitable for use at high temperatures.
- Reinforcing panels and joining frames
- Decorative mouldings
- Joining of multiple materials
- ACXplus 73210: Designed for joints that need to be invisible. Its transparent colour means it is completely unnoticeable on light-coloured materials such as glass or clear plastics. Ideal when the final appearance is of the utmost importance.
- Transparent signage and identification plates
- Installation of transparent decorative panels
- Bonding of translucent profiles
- Applications requiring virtually invisible joints (e.g. shop displays, household appliances and interior design elements)
- ACXplus 73311: Designed for surfaces with a powder-coated finish. The modified adhesive bonds very well to these finishes, which are often difficult to stick to. It is used on furniture, structures or components with this type of coating.
- Fixing decorative trims and panels to household appliances and electronic devices
- Application of identification plates and logos to consumer and industrial products

According to TESA’s official tests, all these tapes offer good adhesion on:
- Steel and aluminium
- Glass
- Plastics such as ABS, polycarbonate, PMMA (acrylic), PET and PVC
Adhesion values vary depending on the material, but they are high and remain stable over time.
